Over the past year Black ICE Judo student athletes have competed around the country to earn points and quality themselves to represent Team USA in the Infantile Pan American Judo Championships in Santo Domingo, DR.
The 2021 Black ICE Judo Summer Camps are off to a great start! We have a record number of overnight campers this summer – we trained hard and played harder.

Black ICE Judo took a team to Winston-Salem for the 2021 USA Judo Junior Olympics. We had a lot of fun and came back with some shiny new hardware!
Black ICE teamed up with El Toro Judo to take 11 students to the SC State Championships in Charleston, SC — winning 14 gold and 7 silver medals between them.
Sensei Joshua White and Paul Sanon represented Black ICE and Georgia Judo well at the 2021 USA Judo Senior Nationals in Reno, NV.
Thanks to the generous support of our friends and family, we raised $2,055 for the kids judo program through our Facebook fundraiser on #givingtuesday. We are so thankful for your generosity — follow us to keep up with our kids and see how your donations are used!
We are pleased to announce that Black ICE Judo is officially recognized as a tax-exempt, charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

On May 3, Team Georgia traveled to Chicago to compete in the 2nd Annual National Judo Duals competition. Twenty (20) athletes from the Southeast were matched against opponents from Ohio and Illinois for judo bragging rights!
Black ICE Judo is excited to announce our Second Annual Judo Summer Camp(s)! This year we are offering two dates: July 8-12 and July 15-19. The camps include: 2-3 workouts per day, an academic power hour, and fun activities each day with at least one major field trip during the week.
Team Black ICE represented at the Samurai Slam in Charleston last weekend! Tristen, Ethan, Caleb, Jayden, and Elijah all medaled in multiple divisions. We also brought home the Most Outstanding Junior and Senior Competitor Awards!
Save the Date! ATJA & AJJF Judo Nationals returns to Atlanta on August 3, 2019. Join us in Atlanta for this fun tournament with a FREE training camp the following morning.
The Nick Goodly Invitational was a great success thanks to competitors, referees, coaches, and parents who traveled from all over the southeast!
The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominees attended our self-defense seminars; they encouraged the kids and even tried out some judo!
Congratulations to Marcus Leach for his big win at NFC 114. He defeated Matthew Holland via Split Decision and is now the NFC Heavyweight Champion!
We had a great weekend in Charleston at the Samurai Slam. Xavion and Sensei White won awards for the most outstanding Junior and Senior Competitors, and the club won the third place junior team trophy.
Team Black ICE had a great day at the University of Tennessee judo tournament. Everyone played hard and we won the first place junior team trophy!
