2020 Nick Goodly Invitational
Save the Date — February 8, 2020 the Nick Goodly Invitational returns to the Warren Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta! Online registration opens January 1, 2020.
* There will be no walk up registration for this event.
National Judo Duals 2019
On May 3, Team Georgia traveled to Chicago to compete in the 2nd Annual National Judo Duals competition. Twenty (20) athletes from the Southeast were matched against opponents from Ohio and Illinois for judo bragging rights!
Judo Summer Camps Announced!
Black ICE Judo is excited to announce our Second Annual Judo Summer Camp(s)! This year we are offering two dates: July 8-12 and July 15-19. The camps include: 2-3 workouts per day, an academic power hour, and fun activities each day with at least one major field trip during the week.

Judo Classes
Judo classes are offered five days a week at two locations. Classes are available for children (4+) and adults. We’d love to have you come and try the judo class for FREE. Dress in comfortable workout clothes, and prepare to be barefoot on the mat. Please contact us to set up your first session!
One on one judo sessions are also available. See Personal Fitness page for details.
Personal Fitness
Personal training sessions are available for all ages and fitness levels in private and group settings. Options include weight training, calisthenics, and high intensity interval training workouts OR learn a skill like boxing, kickboxing, judo, BJJ, or karate while having fun and getting fit. Workouts can be tailored to specific skills for other sports (basketball, volleyball, wrestling, dance, etc.) and around pre-existing injuries.
Sensei Joshua White
Who is Joshua White?
Joshua has enjoyed almost 30 years as a martial artist, athlete, and teacher. His formal study of judo began at the age of 4 under Sensei Steven Alphabet at the W.W. Woolfolk Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta, GA. He currently holds the rank of 5thdegree black belt and competes both nationally and internationally. He continues to train and learn a variety of arts including boxing, kickboxing, Shidokan karate, BJJ, and Japanese jujitsu to diversify himself as a martial artist. He has been nationally ranked in multiple weight classes by USA Judo for many years.
